April Fools Day Fun at Shooters

A fun time was had at the Nagoya-Life April Fools Day International Mixer Party on Saturday night at Shooters Sports Bar and Grill in Fushimi. The food was great, the drinks were plentiful and the mixer activity featured teams choosing the "true" story from a choice of four stories with the winners moving onto a darts competition. In the darts competition, the Giants with a combined score of 108 points prevailed over the other teams. In support of the upcoming 2006 NIS - ACCJ Walkathon, Nagoya-Life presented the winning team members with free tickets (2,000 each) to the Walkathon event on Sunday, May 21st.

There were many new faces at the party and lots of regulars who mixed and had a great time. The party was also the first official party for TTM English and BEST Australia in their roles as co-promoters of the party. Carly and Claire from BEST were bright lights at the party sharing travel and Homestay information on Australia while Charles from TTM was his usual charming self, promoting the hippest and funnest English school in Nagoya. Nagoya-Life thanks everyone who attended the party and congratulates Kumiko Kato for winning our feature party prize, an Apple iPod Shuffle and Chikako Kato for winning the feature prize from TTM, 5 free English lessons!
