Yukata Fun in the Summer

A great time was had at the Nagoya-Life Summer Yukata International Mixer Party on Saturday, July 15th at Shooters Sports Bar and Grill in Fushimi. The food was great, the drinks were plentiful and the mixer activity involved charades.  Standing on a chair so that all the guests could see (and the other patrons in the bar), Brent from Nagoya-Life acted out 5 different charades that the guests had to guess. All of the teams had no problem guessing THINK, SING, SURF AND LOOK, however only one team was able to successfully guess DREAM. The members of the winning team were all presented with 1,500-yen gift certificates from Shooters and Nagoya-Life.

There were many guests wearing Yukata and they added beautiful color and atmosphere to the party.  As a thank you to all of those who dressed up, one lucky Yukata wearing guest went home with 5,000 yen in cash.  In addition to this great prize, the grand door prize winner received a deluxe Sharp MP3 player and a couple of our lucky Japanese guests received prizes from our party partners BEST Australia and TTM Communication.  Thanks to Darran and Charles for their prizes and always fun and gracious hospitality.

After the party was over, many of the guests went down to Shirakawa Koen where fireworks were lit off and more beverages were flowing.  The warm summer night, yukata, beverages and fireworks resulted in another hour of fun for the guests and organizers.

Nagoya-Life thanks everyone who attended the party and invite you to join us on Saturday, September 9th for our Crazy Hat and Sunglasses International Mixer Party as we return to the top floor at Fukiage Hall.  Put on a crazy hat and some sunglasses and head to the 9th floor of Fukiage Hall where you can meet new people and have a great time!   The party is from 18:00 - 20:45 and as always there will be a second party gathering at Shooters in Fushimi when the party ends.
